Tattooed my coworker here in Maui @darnell.inks wanted this tribal centipede on her ear . So she showed me the image and we duplicated by free handing it on the spot . I was very hyped how it came out since the ear is mainly cartilage and it tends to tear easily but luckily we took our time and kept grazing to right depth and healed greatly . Thanks again to Darnell for the trust .

My homie Marcus reached out to me about this project for Nita’s gym, and literally the next day I was there getting started.

Nita already had the design ready, so I brought it to life on the wall using One Shot enamel, mixing a custom color and building out each letter by hand.

Two long days and a lot of brush work later, this was the final result.

I don’t get behind the brush as much these days since tattooing keeps me busy, so it always feels good getting back to some sign painting when the right project comes around.

One of my favorite tattoos from this last Maui tri

One of my favorite tattoos from this last Maui trip.

Preston came in for his very first tattoo with the goal of getting a full sleeve. After talking through what made the most sense for a first session, we decided to start with a quarter sleeve and create a strong foundation that can eventually grow into a larger project.

We looked through a few ideas, landed on this octopus and sailing ship concept, and brought it to life. Seeing an idea turn into something that fits the client’s vision is always one of the best parts of the job.

A few recent black & gray sessions from Artifacts Tattoo Studio.

As we get ready to close this chapter and move into our new space, I wanted to share some of the work that’s come out of the studio over the last few months. I’m grateful for everyone who’s trusted me with their ideas and continues to support my work.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a black & gray project, now’s a great time to reach out. I’d love to create more pieces that combine black & gray realism with custom lettering—whether it’s a small concept or a full sleeve.

We’ll be wrapping up at Artifacts Tattoo Studio at the end of July and transitioning into the new studio throughout August. Looking forward to sharing what’s next.
